The elements in my paintings create a paradoxical environment that exists in its own reality. Layering colors and redefining the structure in the process of painting is a metaphor for the construction and reconstruction we experience within ourselves and in the environment around us. By using form, line, and space, I develop compositions that undergo change through the process of creation. My work explores the infinite potential by letting go and accepting change. Like nature, it’s in the process of becoming; it flourishes, decays, and regenerates. Through deconstruction, environmental influences, and experiences, we shape our reality.
